Information about Tickets & Prices

We are seeking to give you maximum transparency regarding the prices in our web shop. All prices shown in the shop are gross prices and include all taxes and an eventual advance booking fee (agio). Additional costs may only arise when selecting additonal services, such as a delivery fee - these will be shown as an extra during the ordering process.

Before you complete your purchase order and be forwarded to the payment process, you will be shown a summary of your order with  the individual items, the advance booking fee(agio) and the breakdown of the tax.

Selling some tickets exclusively for the event organisers (therefore on behalf of and for the account of the organisers) and having contracts with several other event organisers enables us to sell the tickets at its original price without an extra premium.

All other ticket prices contain a provision fee (agio) of 25% of the original ticket price (incl. tax). If the sale takes place under differing terms and conditions (eg with an increased premium), this is indicated at the ticket info of the event.

Since the 01st of May 2016, the VAT of 13% applies to all theatre tickets. Some event organisers (eg Staatsoper, Volksoper, Burgtheater, Raimundtheater, Ronacher, Theater an der Wien, Musikverein and Konzerthaus Wien) have been certified as charitable by the ministry. They are therefore allowed to sell their tickets with a reduced tax rate of 10%. We are not allowed to take advantage of this reduction, wherefore we are obliged to sell the tickets for these events also with a Vat of 13%. This leads, de facto, to an increased sale price of 2,7%; The orignal gross price charged by us differs therefore from the original gross price charged by the event organiser by 2,7%, but the net price is still identical to that of the event organiser.
