A town like thousands of others: a corrupt mayor, poor health care, justice and education, and the population's discontent growing every day. Everything could go on like this forever if it weren't for the sudden rumor that an auditor from the big city had come to check that everything was going well. Out of fear of being exposed, they force bribes and even their own daughter on the young guest. But everyone only notices that he is just a penniless civil servant who ended up in the town by chance when he is already out of the woods.
