Talyani Malik exists in five different versions. His five selves are spread all over the world: in Beirut he is the owner of a jeans shop, in Italy he is a Ferrari-driving neurosurgeon, in Toronto he is a homosexual artist, in Paris he is a taxi driver, and in the USA he is a murderer sentenced to death. Every place you live, every environment, every experience you have forms a new identity, a new character, a new personality.

Almost twenty years after his unforgettable production of BURNINGS, Stefan Bachmann dedicates himself to Wajdi Mouawad's new play and the question of the possibilities and constraints of our existence.
