The charismatic and popular opera star Rolando Villazón will celebrate the great anniversary of his favorite composer in 2026: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart! To mark the 270th birthday of this musical genius, Rolando Villazón invites you to celebratory concerts in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The program revolves around arias and scenes for kings, emperors, and a fowler, with music from Mozart operas such as Idomeneo, La clemenza di Tito, Il re pastore, and The Magic Flute.

Rolando Villazón lives in Paris. He is considered one of the most versatile artists of our time and is also known as a director, writer, TV and radio personality, artistic director of the Salzburg Mozart Week, and artistic director of the Mozarteum Foundation.

The 270th Mozart anniversary with star tenor Rolando Villazón is a unique Mozart experience for the whole family. The PRJCT Amsterdam orchestra, under the direction of its founder, Maarten Engeltjes, will be performing. The PRJCT Amsterdam orchestra has been delighting audiences with its refreshing joy of playing since 2017 and is considered one of the most exciting orchestras for early music.
