Global thinking pays off, as a long-running hit impressively demonstrates: Antonín Dvořák drew inspiration for his "Ninth" in the USA from the music of the indigenous population, yet remained true to the Bohemian musical tradition. Glittering northern light and snow-capped mountain peaks, on the other hand, inspired Edvard Grieg for his piano concerto. Alexandra Dovgan will be a guest on the piano as a great talent - she has been supported for years by none other than Grigory Sokolov.
