He swept the ARD Music Competition in Munich, performed a highly acclaimed pop-up! concert at Jeunesse in 2024, and was subsequently celebrated as an "ECHO Rising Star" on Europe's most prestigious concert stages: Lukas Sternath is back in Vienna with Rachmaninoff's rarely heard Piano Concerto No. 4, composed only after his emigration to the USA. Also appearing on the podium with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra will be Japanese conductor Kazuki Yamada, who was mentored for many years by none other than Seiji Ozawa and is now Chief Conductor of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
