The premiere at the Vienna Musikverein in 1875 was an event. Composer Brahms himself sat at the piano, and none other than Richard Wagner was in the audience. 150 years later, we can once again look forward to an exciting evening: For the second time, composer Richard Dünser has transformed a Brahms piano quartet into a piano concerto for four hands – creating another masterpiece for the Silver-Garburg piano duo. The Orquesta de Valencia, under Alexander Liebreich, will also be performing an enchanting ballet suite by Ravel and Richard Strauss's "Thus Spoke Zarathustra." The monumental opening fanfare is legendary!
