    Time magazine called him a "champion of classical music," and Prince Harry's wedding made him world famous. However, without Elgar's Cello Concerto (and the recording by Jacqueline du Pré), his career would never have taken off: Kanneh-Mason returns to his roots at the Musikverein and thus to Elgar's melodic beauty. Dance forms the framework of the concert under Krzysztof Urbański: Lutosławski's "Little Suite" is a charming homage to dance scenes from his Polish homeland. Without Stravinsky's rhythmic finesse in his "Pictures from Pagan Russia," the techno of today's clubbing scene might never have emerged...
