In the physical introduction to the ballet performance Shifting Symmetries, visitors explore the special movement qualities of Hans van Manen's choreography with Louisa Rachedi, deputy director of the Vienna State Ballet, and gain an insight into a Cunningham class. The experimental approach of the Cunningham technique is based on the exploration of movement possibilities, encourages individual interpretations and allows great freedom of movement. Ballet knowledge is not necessary to participate in this introduction!
