Gerhard Polt offers an entertaining "Bavarian evening" of a special kind, far from the white and blue veal sausage idyll and beer bliss. In his Panoptikum Bavaricum, Polt, who knows people, reflects the depths of "Bavaria itself", without exposing it to the unreflective laughter of homo googleensis.
The three brothers Stofferl, Michael and Karl Well, sing about Bavaria and the rest of the world. They invite you on a trip into the absurdities of the Alpine regions between ski lifts, Alpinismo Tropical, crimes against one's homeland, hypocrisy and concrete construction. A virtuoso fire station meets Bavarian rap, heart-rending yodeling meets rustic, brutal dance, all in the tried and tested tradition of the Biermösl Blosn with familiar musical sounds and satirically sharp lyrics in the local dialect. Gerhard Polt and the three Well brothers make each of their now rare performances a real treat for the audience and for themselves, because before you know it, the beer has been drunk, the radish eaten, the Schuhplattler danced, the story told and the yodeling over!
