Two decades full of music, friendship and unforgettable moments on and behind the stage.

As an artistic heavyweight with compositions as light as a feather, the ensemble has long been playing on major concert stages around the world. Their performances have taken them from Scandinavia to Egypt and from the USA back to the beautiful Wachau. In hundreds of concerts from the Elbphilharmonie to the Vienna Konzerthaus, from Stanford University to the rustic inn hall, Federspiel developed its own musical language in the field of tension between tradition and modernity and established itself as one of the most innovative ensembles
on the European brass music scene.
With new compositions in the typical Federspiel sound, but of course also with favorite pieces and anecdotes from times gone by, Federspiel is celebrating its anniversary as a celebration for itself and its audience.
