A committed Marxist and left-wing activist unexpectedly inherits an old apartment and plunges into a deep crisis. Having fallen victim to her bourgeois fate, the class traitor has no choice but to question her previous beliefs and search for a new meaning in life within her newly inherited four walls.

"Unhappy Without Desire" is a comic play by someone who knows nothing about theater, for people who don't care about theater.

Driven by her enthusiasm for the ugly side of life, toxische Pommes parodies Austrian society and likes to expose it where it hurts.
In addition to her satirical short videos, she has been performing on various cabaret stages in German-speaking countries since 2021. Her debut novel, "Ein schönes Ausländerkind" (A Beautiful Foreigner's Child), was published by Zsolnay in 2024.

After "Ketchup, Mayo & Ajvar," "Unhappy Without Desire" is her second solo project.
