Christmas in the Sixties: Andy Williams, glitter everywhere – a feast for the senses! But not for everyone. The successful Miss Scrooge prefers to work on Christmas Eve, and so her employees are caught up. It's only late in the evening that she sits alone in her office, annoyed by the shouting of Christmas carols on the radio, by the intrusive joy of her relatives, by the general waste of money for a single day - which is just like any other. But is that really him? The Christmas ghosts that will haunt Miss Scrooge at night disagree!

Charles Dickens' story A Christmas Carol, published in December 1843, is one of the most famous Christmas stories of all. Director Werner Sobotka moves the action into the 1960s and makes Maria Köstlinger his Miss Scrooge.
