SOUNDSTAGE präsentiert WALDECK im Burgtheater

In the new SOUNDSTAGE series, BURG presents contemporary musicians who enter into a respectful dialogue not only with the audience, but also with a space steeped in history. If possible, the concerts should be designed for this one special evening or be the first performances of new projects.

In the past, several fantastic pop music evenings have taken place on this venerable stage. Remember Nick Cave, who played with musicians from Ian Dury, Kraftwerk or The Cinematic Orchestra. And so this tradition should be continued with SOUNDSTAGE.

The concert series will be opened by Waldeck, the lawyer who has been active in music since the 1990s and has made a name for himself as a pioneer of electro swing. He conquered the international dance floors not only with his album “Bedroom Stories”.
On October 25, 2024, together with his singer Patrizia Ferrara, he will present his new work “The Moon and the Orient” in the incomparable atmosphere of the Burgtheater.
