Dostoyevsky's GREAT INQUISITOR is one of the most influential texts in world literature. A shocking parable that makes the cold, moral-free thinking of a real politician tangible. It is about the return of Jesus Christ, who threatens to become a victim of the Inquisition carried out in his name. In her stage solo, Barbara Petritsch combines the monologue of the Grand Inquisitor with the monologue FALSCH VERBUNDEN, a moving text about loneliness and the associated search for God from the play GROSS UND KLEIN by Botho Strauß.
